National Qualifications Framework
The National Qualifications Framework in childcare has recently undergone change which has been designed to provide qualifications that stand for real currency in the Early Years job market.The new qualifications recognise the value of childcare staff. They provide a clear career progression route, with flexibility to diversify if you want to, which supports the government's strategy to develop a world-class workforce for children and young people.

It's Not all Child's Play
Have you thought about working with children but don't know where to start? It's Not all Child's Play is a free 2 hour, interactive session delivered by our Recruitment and Retention Officer which will help you explore what is involved in working with children. You will learn about the skills and qualities which are required, and the different career options which could be available to you. What if you have an old childcare qualification?
If you are a previous childcare worker wanting to return to work after a break our Recruitment and Retention Officer can tell you if the qualifications you have are relevant under todays framework or if you need additional or replacement training.
