Special Needs Support
Sheffield Information Link (SIL) offers support for families with disabled children through an extension to its service called Sheffield Information Giving Network (SIGN).

SIGN is based at the Ryegate Children's Centre and is a free information service for disabled children and young people and their families, and the professionals who support them. SIGN brings together Health, Social Services and Education, plus voluntary agencies to offer an integrated information service.

Staff at SIGN can provide you with information on:
- Specific health conditions
- Sources of support, self help groups and further information
- Appropriate local and national voluntary organisations
- Statutory services and how to access them
- Special educational needs support
- Leisure and holiday information
