NEW! Subscribe to SIL's RSS feed!
If you're interested in keeping track of all the latest developments at SIL, along with what's going on with other local organisations, initiatives, events and special offers, why not subscribe to SIL's RSS feed?
RSS is a really easy way to keep track of websites which are updated with new articles regularly. The articles' headlines show up in your RSS reader (an application or webpage), and you can then decide whether you want to click through to the site to read the rest of the article. So you can browse SIL's news as well as the updates of all your other favourite websites, all at once, and pick out the articles of most interest to you. It also means you'll never miss one of our updates! And, of course, it's completely free.
How do I subscribe?
You will need an RSS reader, which you will open or log in to in order to view the headlines of all the RSS feeds you subscribe to. If you don't already have one, Google Reader is free, and easy to use. You don't need to install or download anything - just log into the website with a Google Mail account. (If you don't have one, there is a 'create account' button on the right side of the page.)
When logged in to Google Reader, there is a button at the top left called Add A Subscription. Click this, and type "Sheffield Information Link: News Pages" into the search bar. That's us! - just click link and then click on the 'Subscribe' button underneath. All our future News updates (as posted on this page) will show up for you to browse in your reader.
