The two MPs were introduced to staff at the SIL offices on Leopold Street
and given a short presentation before being introduced to Reece Warren, a pupil at Yewlands Technology College who has used ask Sid to find out about art.
Speaking after the visit the MPs had the following to say about ask Sid:
"I was very impressed with the comprehensive information available on such a wide range of subjects from tennis to anti-bullying campaigns. It will be very useful for me to be able to tell people about ask Sid" said Meg Munn MP.
"There are groups and organisations in my constituency that will be able to use ask Sid to promote themselves and I will certainly be making sure they know about ask Sid in future," said Angela Smith.
Speaking to the MPs, Reece told them; “I’m into Art Attack and ask Sid really helps me find creative things. I’m very interested in modelling and creating things so I used ask Sid to help me find craft clubs – it was a lot easier than going through the Yellow Pages!”
