Five Sheffield MPs in one month praise Sheffield Information Link services

Clive Betts, David Blunkett and Richard Caborn made it five Sheffield MPs in one month to visit the offices of Sheffield Information Link (SIL) to praise its services.

The three Labour MPs visited the SIL offices on Leopold Street, Sheffield for Richard Caborn MP and Sharron Baroudi, Chief Executive of SIL with SID.a special presentation on its city-wide services four weeks after their colleagues Meg Munn and Angela Smith popped in to find out about the ask Sid website information service, and they were just as impressed!

"SIL and ask Sid are services that everyone in Sheffield should know about. It's a very comprehensive service that has a lot to offer children, families and professionals in Sheffield. I will certainly be informing my team about it and passing on information to constituents," said Richard Caborn MP.

"I am impressed with how easy it is for people to find very important information about childcare and family related services using ask Sid," said David Blunkett MP.

"It’s good to know that Sheffield is leading the way in providing such a service as SIL. It's also very reassuring to know that child safety and security is a top priority for a service that is used by so many young people in Sheffield, said Clive Betts MP.

SIL is a city-wide charity with 22 years of experience of delivering free and friendly information and advice on a range of issues including childcare, playcare and family support.
