SIL Library's Book of the Month
Sheffield Information Link's library, based in our shop at 11 Leopold Street, has a great range of books and other resources. But have you ever wondered exactly what you can find on our shelves?
Every month on the SIL website, we highlight a topical book of the month, to give a flavour of the exciting range we have available. Our resources are carefully selected to be of interest to you in your work with children and young people, to assist you with a childcare qualification or as a parent or carer.
September 2009The SIL library has a wide range of books chosen to help those working with children or working towards a childcare qualification. Save money by borrowing your texts from us! Here are a few examples of the resources we can offer to Early Years workers.
August 2009August 12th is International Youth Day. To mark the occasion, here's a selection of the young people's books - both fiction and non-fiction - available to borrow free at SIL.
July 2009SIL has a collection of multi-lingual children's books, which tell stories in both English and other languages. Here is a small selection of the stories available.
June 2009With Fathers' Day on 21st June, why not have a look at our library resources about fathers of all types? These are free to borrow - why not use them to gather ideas for projects or celebrations?
