Sheffield Information Link is Sheffield's Family Information Service - your first port of call for any information you need about children, young people and families. We have over 20 years' experience of supporting parents, carers and professionals to make informed choices for their children. We provide information about services for children and young people aged 0-19+, including childcare, leisure, education, health,family support and much more.
The shop, situated at 11 Leopold Street, also boasts an extensive library of books to support parents, carers and childcare workers as well as a dedicated multilingual resource with many books in dual languages. The provision of an open access computer allows parents and childcare workers who don't have internet access at home to surf the net free of charge for information about childcare related issues. The community language line on 0114 275 8876 is available for Arabic and Somali speaking enquirers on Monday and Wednesday between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm and for Urdu and Punjabi speakers on Tuesday and Thursday between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm.
