If you answer yes to any of these questions then Sheffield Information Link can help you. Our free service offers information to parents and carers and professionals working on their behalf.
We can provide you with lists of childcare services like nurseries, playgroups and home based childcarers. We can also provide information on leisure activities like parent and toddler groups, swimming sessions or play centres, places to visit and what’s on for children in the city.
For new or expectant parents we can put you in touch with organisations that can advise you on benefits and grants and we have information we can send you on your rights and how to apply for Working Tax Credit
If your family needs more support we can signpost you towards organisations that can help you, and for children with disabilities or special needs, we have a specialised service called SIGN which can help you find the support you need.
We can also provide information for people who are interested in working with children. We have a pack which outlines the opportunities for training for a career in childcare in Sheffield and we have a vacancies board both in our shop on Leopold Street and on the website.
