We have always produced a 'Places to Visit' guide for parents as well as a 'What's On' guide during each set of school holidays, but now we are taking that one step further by joining up with some of the organisations featured to offer special discounts. The latest partner to join up is Hardy's Animal Farm.
You’ll be sure to have a fun packed day down at Hardy's Animal Farm! You can meet and feed all the animals, learn how a modern day farm works and take a ride on our horse and cart. There’s a huge adventure playground so kids can work up an appetite for lunch in our award winning restaurant. And don’t forget to pick up your free range eggs from the gift shop on your way out. The farm is wheelchair and disabled friendly, and provide a free kennel facility for dogs as they are not allowed into the farm park.

Matlock Farm Park is set in part of a 600 acre working farm, providing a great day out with varied activities for all the family. The park has a varied selection of animals to see including llamas, goats, peacocks and red deer to name a few. The pet rabbits are always a favourite with the children along with the opportunity to help feed the young lambs (seasonable). Children will learn about the countryside, experience the many pleasures and have tremendous fun as they go. There are specially designed playgrounds and even a go-kart track for the kids and many places for the adults to relax if they wish. Special event days are held throughout the year.
